Possible Causes

Dislodged tilt sensor on main PCB, Damaged impact sensor, Loose internal wiring harness after impact, Firmware error detecting unsafe orientation

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before handling.

  • Reset orientation: Place the vacuum upright on a flat surface. Remove the battery for 1 minute, then reinstall and power ON without moving it.
  • Check for visible damage: Inspect the housing for cracks, loose panels, or rattling sounds that may indicate internal damage.
  • Gently tap to reseat: With the battery removed, gently tap the sides of the main body with your hand to help reseat any slightly displaced internal sensor (do not hit hard).
  • Update firmware (if supported): Connect the vacuum to the OKP app and check for firmware updates that may address sensor calibration issues.
  • If E8 remains: The main control PCB or its tilt/impact sensor is likely damaged and should be replaced by a professional.
