Possible Causes

Faulty airflow sensor near cyclone assembly, Air leak at dust bin seal, Misaligned dust container, Cracked cyclone housing

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF and remove the battery before inspecting seals and housings.

  • Check dust bin installation: Remove and reinstall the dust container, ensuring it clicks firmly into place and that the rubber gasket seats evenly.
  • Inspect seals: Examine the main bin gasket and any O‑rings for tears, deformation, or missing sections. Replace damaged seals.
  • Look for cracks: Inspect the cyclone housing and bin for hairline cracks that could cause air leaks. Replace the dust bin/cyclone assembly if cracked.
  • Clean sensor area: If accessible without disassembly, gently blow dust away from any small holes or channels near the cyclone that may house the airflow sensor.
  • If E9 persists: The internal airflow sensor on the main control PCB may be faulty. This requires PCB replacement by a technician.
