Possible Causes

Clogged pre‑motor filter, Saturated HEPA filter, Faulty filter presence sensor, Misfitted filter not sealing correctly

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Remove the battery before handling filters.

  • Remove and clean filters: Take out the pre‑motor and HEPA filters. Tap off dust and, if allowed, rinse with cold water. Let them dry completely (24 hours) before reinstalling.
  • Check filter orientation: Ensure filters are installed in the correct direction and fully seated. Misalignment can trigger F6.
  • Inspect filter sensor area: Some OKP models have a small switch or magnetic sensor that detects filter presence. Make sure no debris is blocking it.
  • Replace filters: If filters are old, deformed, or discolored, replace them with genuine OKP pre‑motor and HEPA filters.
  • If F6 continues with new filters: The filter sensor or main control PCB may be faulty and require technician diagnosis.
