Possible Causes

Broken or stretched brush drive belt (if belt‑driven), Failed brush motor inside floor head, Loose wiring in floor head, Worn brush roll end bearings

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF and remove the battery before working on the floor head.

  • Check for jams: Remove hair and debris from the brush roll as described in the E3 procedure.
  • Inspect belt (if accessible): Open the belt cover on the floor head (if your model has one). Replace the OKP brush drive belt if it is broken or loose.
  • Spin brush manually: With the belt and brush installed, try turning the brush by hand. It should rotate smoothly. If it binds, replace the brush roll assembly.
  • If brush still does not spin: The internal brush motor or PCB in the floor head is likely faulty. Replace the entire motorized floor brush assembly.
