Possible Causes
Dirty or damp filters, Organic debris left in dust bin, Mold growth inside bin or cyclone, Pet hair accumulation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before cleaning. Do not immerse the motor unit in water.
- Empty and wash bin: Remove the dust bin and wash it with mild soap and water if the manual allows. Dry completely before reinstalling.
- Clean or replace filters: Wash washable filters with cold water and let them dry for at least 24 hours. Replace heavily soiled filters with new OKP filter sets.
- Wipe external surfaces: Use a slightly damp cloth to wipe the outside of the bin and floor head. Do not allow water into the motor vents.
- Prevent recurrence: Empty the bin after each use, especially when picking up pet hair or food debris.
