Possible Causes
Clogged cyclonic dust bin, Blocked extension wand or crevice tool, Severely clogged pre‑motor filter, Air leak at dust bin gasket
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before cleaning.
- Empty and clean dust bin: Remove the dust container, empty it, and wipe the inside with a dry cloth. Tap the cyclone gently to remove packed dust.
- Clear blockages: Detach the wand and tools. Look through each piece and push out any clogs with a blunt rod.
- Clean or replace filters: Remove the pre‑motor filter and HEPA filter. Tap off dust and rinse if allowed. Replace with genuine OKP filters if they remain dirty or deformed.
- Check seals: Inspect the dust bin gasket and any O‑rings. Replace the dust bin gasket if cracked or flattened.
- Test suction at motor inlet: With the bin removed (if design allows), briefly run the motor to feel suction directly at the inlet. Strong suction here but weak at the floor head indicates a blockage or leak in the attachments.
