Dust container door will not latch or pops open during use

Safety: Remove the battery before working on the dust container.

• Clean latch: Inspect the latch area for dust or debris. Clean with a brush and dry cloth.
• Check hook and catch: Examine the plastic hook on the door and the catch on the body. If either is cracked or worn, the bin will not stay closed.
• Test spring action: Ensure the latch spring returns the latch to the locked position. If weak or missing, replace the latch assembly or bin.
• Replace bin: If the door or latch is damaged, replace the entire dust container assembly.
