Battery indicator shows B2 and runtime is extremely short

Safety: Do not continue using a battery that becomes excessively hot or emits odor.

• Confirm charge: Fully charge the battery on the original charger until the charger indicates completion.
• Measure runtime: Use the vacuum continuously on a fixed power setting and time how long it runs. Compare with the specification in the manual.
• Test another battery: If a second battery provides normal runtime, the original pack is worn out.
• Replace battery: Lithium‑ion packs have a limited life. Replace with a new Parkside battery of the same series and capacity.
• Storage tips: Store new batteries at about 40–60% charge in a cool, dry place to maximize lifespan.
