Extension tube will not lock securely to main body or floor head

Safety: Remove the battery before working on mechanical joints.

• Clean joints: Remove the tube and clean the locking areas on both the tube and mating parts.
• Inspect tabs: Check the plastic locking tabs for wear or breakage. If they no longer engage, replace the tube.
• Check button: Ensure the release button moves freely and returns under spring tension. Replace if broken.
• Replace worn parts: If the tube or mating connector is deformed, replace the affected component to restore a secure fit.
