Possible Causes
Clogged HEPA exhaust filter, Blocked exhaust grille, Continuous use on turbo mode, Failing motor generating excess heat
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery and let the vacuum cool completely before handling.
- Clean exhaust filter: Remove the HEPA or exhaust filter at the rear of the unit. Tap off dust and wash if allowed. Let it dry fully before reinstalling.
- Clear exhaust vents: Use a soft brush to clean the external exhaust grille.
- Adjust usage: Avoid running on maximum power for long periods. Alternate between modes to reduce heat buildup.
- Monitor temperature: After cleaning, run the vacuum and periodically check the housing temperature. If it still becomes excessively hot, the motor may be failing and should be replaced.
