How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Remove the battery and detach the floor head.
- Inspect brushroll: Remove the brushroll cover and take out the brushroll. Clean hair and debris from the ends and bearings.
- Check end caps: Ensure end caps are not cracked and fit tightly. Replace the brushroll if damaged.
- Open gearbox (if serviceable): Remove screws on the side of the floor head to access the gear compartment. Remove any debris and inspect gears for missing teeth or wear.
- Replace head: If gears are stripped or the internal motor is noisy, replace the entire motorized floor head assembly.
