Possible Causes

Clogged filters restricting airflow, Blocked motor cooling vents, Failing motor drawing excess current, Battery pack overheating due to internal resistance

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and allow it to cool completely before further use. Do not cover the unit while it is hot.

  • Step 1 – Clean filters and vents: Remove and clean all filters. Use a dry brush to clear dust from cooling vents around the motor and battery.
  • Step 2 – Reduce load: Avoid using Turbo mode continuously on thick carpets. Alternate between power levels.
  • Step 3 – Monitor temperature: After cleaning, run the vacuum and periodically check the temperature by touch. It should be warm but not too hot to hold.
  • Step 4 – Replace overheating component: If the battery area becomes very hot or the unit shuts down frequently, replace the battery pack. If the motor area overheats despite clean filters, the motor may be failing and should be replaced.
