Possible Causes

Damaged wiring in floor nozzle, Failed LED driver circuit on nozzle PCB, Dirty or bent accessory contacts, Faulty accessory detection circuit on main PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the nozzle before inspection. Do not attempt to power LEDs directly with external power.

  • Step 1 – Inspect accessory contacts: Check the metal pins on the nozzle and the mating contacts on the vacuum body or wand. Clean gently with a dry cloth.
  • Step 2 – Check for physical damage: Look for cracks in the nozzle housing, damaged LED lens, or exposed wires near the swivel neck.
  • Step 3 – Test another nozzle: If you have another Philips motorized or LED nozzle compatible with your model, attach it and see if E7 disappears. This helps isolate whether the fault is in the nozzle or the main unit.
  • Step 4 – Replace nozzle if needed: If E7 only appears with one specific nozzle, replace that nozzle assembly.
  • Step 5 – Main PCB check: If E7 appears with all accessories, the accessory detection/LED driver circuit on the main PCB may be faulty and requires professional replacement.
