How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and detach the motorized nozzle before working on it.
- Step 1 – Remove brush roll: Open the nozzle cover and take out the brush roll.
- Step 2 – Clean and inspect: Remove hair and debris from the brush and end caps. Spin the end caps by hand; they should rotate smoothly.
- Step 3 – Check for damage: Look for cracks in the brush roll and listen for grinding when turning it.
- Step 4 – Inspect nozzle gears: If accessible, check the gear area near the brush motor for broken teeth or debris.
- Step 5 – Replace parts: Replace the brush roll if bearings are worn. If internal gears are damaged, replace the entire motorized nozzle assembly.
