Possible Causes
Clogged pre-motor filter, Clogged HEPA/post-motor filter, Dust sensor detecting restricted airflow, Wet filter installed
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and remove the battery. Never run the vacuum with wet filters installed.
- Remove filters: Take out the pre-motor filter (usually foam or mesh) and the HEPA/post-motor filter.
- Dry cleaning: Tap filters gently over a trash can to remove loose dust. Use a soft brush to clean the filter frame.
- Wash if allowed: If the manual states the filters are washable, rinse under cold water until clear. Do not use detergents. Squeeze out excess water gently.
- Dry completely: Air-dry filters for at least 24 hours until fully dry. Reinstall only when no moisture remains.
- Replace if old: If filters are deformed, torn, or heavily stained, replace them with a genuine Roborock Filter Set.
