Possible Causes

Clogged cyclone assembly, Blocked wand or floor head airway, Full dustbin restricting airflow, Overheated main motor due to restricted airflow

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the vacuum and remove the battery. Allow the unit to cool for at least 30 minutes if it feels hot.

  • Empty the dustbin: Detach and empty the dustbin. Tap gently to dislodge compacted dust from the cyclone shroud.
  • Check cyclone and inlet: Remove the cyclone assembly (if removable) and inspect for clumps of dust or foreign objects. Clear all obstructions.
  • Inspect wand and hose: Detach the wand and any flexible hose. Look through them against a light source and push out any blockages using a long, non-sharp rod.
  • Check floor head: Remove the brush head and inspect the suction channel for blockages (e.g., paper, toys). Clean thoroughly.
  • Clean filters: Remove pre-motor and post-motor filters as per the user manual. Tap off dust and, if washable, rinse with cold water only. Allow to dry completely (24 hours) before reinstalling.
  • Test again: Reassemble and test on low power. If E2 persists with clear airflow and clean filters, the main motor thermal sensor may be faulty and the Main Motor Assembly may need replacement.
