Possible Causes
Clogged filters causing overheating, Blocked airflow around motor, Battery temperature too high, Faulty temperature sensor on motor or battery
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the vacuum and remove the battery. Let the unit cool for at least 30 minutes in a cool, dry place.
- Clean filters thoroughly: Remove pre-motor and HEPA/post-motor filters. Tap off dust and wash if allowed. Dry completely before reinstalling.
- Check for blockages: Inspect dustbin, cyclone, wand, and floor head for any obstructions that could restrict airflow.
- Ventilation: Ensure the motor exhaust vents on the body are not blocked by your hand during use or by dust buildup. Clean vents with a soft brush.
- Battery temperature: If the battery feels hot after short use, it may be failing. Allow it to cool fully and test again in low mode.
- Replace suspect parts: If E8 recurs quickly even with clean filters and clear airflow, replace the Battery Pack. If the issue persists, the Main Motor Assembly or its temperature sensor may be defective.
