How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Immediately turn off the vacuum, remove the battery, and let the head cool. Do not continue using it until inspected.

  • Remove brush: Open the floor head and take out the main brush. Cut away all hair and fibers.
  • Check end caps: Spin the brush by hand. It should rotate freely. If stiff, replace the Main Brush.
  • Inspect housing: Look for melted plastic or scorch marks inside the head. If present, the Motorized Floor Head may need replacement.
  • Test briefly: After cleaning, reassemble and test for a short period. If smell returns quickly, replace the floor head.
