Possible Causes
Broken brush roller bearings, foreign objects in brush housing, damaged gear train, loose brush roller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before opening the brush head.
- Open brush head: Release the bottom plate or access panel and remove the brush roller.
- Remove debris: Look for small objects (coins, stones, toys) inside the housing and around the roller. Remove all foreign items.
- Check bearings: Spin the brush roller by hand. If you feel grinding or hear scraping, replace the brush roller assembly.
- Inspect gears (if gear-driven): If accessible, inspect the plastic gears for missing teeth or heavy wear. Replace the gear module or entire head if damaged.
- Reassemble securely: Ensure the roller is seated correctly in its slots and the bottom plate is fully latched. A loose roller can rattle and damage the housing.
