How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before opening the brush head or handle.
- Confirm brush mode: Ensure the brush mode switch or button is set to ON and that the indicator (if present) shows brush activation.
- Inspect brush roller: Remove the bottom plate and check that the roller is correctly seated and not jammed.
- Check belt/gear: If belt-driven, inspect the belt for breakage. Replace if snapped or missing. For gear-driven heads, look for stripped gears.
- Check wiring: Inspect the wiring from the neck connector to the brush motor for breaks or loose plugs. Reseat connectors firmly.
- Test motor directly (visual): With the roller removed and battery installed, briefly engage brush mode. If the motor shaft does not spin, the brush motor or its PCB is faulty and should be replaced.
