SEBO
Severely Reduced Battery Capacity
Cordless SEBO vacuum runs for only a few minutes on a full charge before shutting off.

Possible Causes
Aged lithium-ion cells, repeated deep discharges, storage at high temperature, internal cell imbalance in battery pack
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not continue to run the battery to complete shutdown repeatedly; this accelerates damage.
- Verify full charge: Charge the battery until the charger indicates full. Ensure it remains on the charger for an extra 30–60 minutes to top-balance cells.
- Test on lowest power: Run the vacuum on the lowest suction setting and time the runtime. If it is still far below the specification, the battery capacity is degraded.
- Check for overheating: If the battery or vacuum becomes very hot during the short runtime, the pack may have internal resistance issues and should be replaced.
- Replace battery: Purchase a genuine SEBO replacement battery pack. Battery packs are not user-repairable and should not be opened.
