Possible Causes
Completely discharged or failed battery pack, defective charger, broken battery bay connector, failed main control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not attempt to open the battery pack or charger casing.
- Check outlet and charger: Plug another device into the same outlet to confirm power. Inspect the SEBO charger cable and plug for damage. If the charger's indicator does not light, replace the charger.
- Charge fully: Place the battery on the charger for the full recommended time (often several hours). Ensure the charger indicator shows charging, not error.
- Test with another battery: If possible, try a second SEBO battery. If the vacuum powers on with the second battery, replace the original pack.
- Inspect battery bay: With the battery removed, inspect the battery bay contacts for bent or recessed pins. If damaged, the battery connector assembly or lower housing may need replacement.
- PCB failure: If a known-good battery and charger do not restore power and contacts are intact, the main control PCB is likely faulty and should be replaced by a technician.
