Possible Causes
Failed motor temperature sensor, defective brush motor Hall sensor, damaged wiring to sensor, sensor input failure on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before opening any covers. Do not bypass safety sensors.
- Check for obvious overheating: If the vacuum feels unusually hot or has a burnt smell, allow it to cool completely and inspect for blockages and dirty filters before further use.
- Inspect sensor wiring: In the brush head, locate the small wires leading to the brush motor (Hall sensor) and in the main body to the suction motor (temperature sensor). Look for broken or pulled-out connectors.
- Reconnect loose plugs: If any small sensor plug is loose on the PCB, reseat it carefully until it clicks.
- Test operation modes: After reassembly, test the vacuum on different power levels. If E10 appears only when the brush is engaged, the brush motor sensor is suspect; if it appears regardless, the main motor sensor or PCB is likely at fault.
- Replace faulty module: Sensor components are usually integrated with the motor or PCB. Replace the affected motor assembly or control PCB rather than attempting to replace the sensor alone.
