Possible Causes

Damaged wiring harness in floor nozzle, Failed brush motor in Sencor motorized head, Loose connector between wand and floor nozzle, Burned brush motor driver on main PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Power OFF the vacuum and remove the battery. Do not probe live connectors.

  • Check mechanical movement: Turn the brushroll by hand. If it spins freely and no debris is present, the issue is likely electrical.
  • Inspect connectors: Detach the floor nozzle and wand. Inspect the electrical contacts on the nozzle, wand, and main body for bent pins, corrosion, or dust. Clean gently with a dry cloth.
  • Test with another head (if available): If you have another Sencor motorized attachment, connect it. If it works, the original floor nozzle brush motor or wiring is faulty.
  • Open the nozzle (advanced users): Remove screws from the bottom of the floor nozzle and carefully open the housing. Check the small wiring harness from the connector to the brush motor for breaks or burn marks.
  • Replace faulty parts: If the brush motor shows signs of burning or does not run when powered (tested by a technician), replace the entire floor nozzle or brush motor assembly. If multiple heads fail, the main PCB in the handheld unit may need replacement.
