Possible Causes

Battery pack deeply discharged below safe voltage, Internal cell imbalance detected by BMS, Faulty battery management system (BMS) board inside Sencor battery, Using non-original or incompatible charger

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Only use the original Sencor charger. Do not attempt to open the battery pack or charger.

  • Check charger output: Verify that the charger LED turns on when plugged into the wall. If there is no light, the charger may be faulty and should be replaced.
  • Clean contacts: Inspect and clean the metal contacts on the charger and battery with a dry cloth. Ensure the battery clicks firmly into place.
  • Try extended charging: Leave the battery on the charger for several hours even if E6 initially appears. Some BMS systems will slowly recover a slightly over-discharged pack.
  • Test with another battery (if available): If another Sencor battery charges normally on the same charger, the original pack is defective.
  • Replace defective battery: If E6 persists, replace the battery pack with a genuine Sencor replacement. If multiple batteries show E6 on the same charger, replace the charger or have the charging circuit in the vacuum base inspected by a technician.
