Possible Causes
Defective mode button on handle, Damaged keypad PCB in Sencor handle, Loose ribbon cable from keypad to main board, Liquid ingress around buttons
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before inspecting the handle or buttons.
- Check for sticking: Press the mode button repeatedly. If it feels stuck or does not click, debris or dried liquid may be under the button.
- Clean exterior: Wipe around the buttons with a slightly damp cloth (water only), then dry thoroughly. Do not spray cleaners directly onto the handle.
- Drying (if spilled on): If liquid was spilled on the handle, remove the dust bin and filters and let the unit dry for 24–48 hours in a warm, dry place.
- Internal repair: If F3 persists, the keypad PCB or ribbon cable may need replacement. This requires opening the handle and should be done by a technician using the correct Sencor spare parts.
