Possible Causes
Non-original battery pack without proper ID chip, Dirty or bent data contacts on battery, Faulty ID circuit in Sencor battery pack, Damaged battery connector on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before inspecting contacts.
- Use original battery: Ensure you are using a genuine Sencor battery pack recommended for your model. Third-party packs may not communicate correctly.
- Clean contacts: Gently clean the battery and vacuum contacts with a dry cloth. Do not use abrasive materials.
- Inspect for damage: Look for bent or recessed pins in the battery compartment. If pins are damaged, the main body may need repair.
- Test with another battery: If possible, try another known-good Sencor battery. If F5 disappears, replace the original battery. If F5 remains, the main PCB battery interface is likely faulty and requires technician service.
