Severin
Battery Capacity Loss
Vacuum runtime is much shorter than before; battery drains quickly even on low power.

Possible Causes
Aged Li-Ion cells in battery pack, frequent full discharges, storage in high temperatures, internal cell imbalance
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use only original Severin batteries and chargers to avoid safety risks.
- Step 1 – Fully charge battery: Charge the battery until the charger indicates full. Then leave it on the charger for an additional 30 minutes to ensure cell balancing.
- Step 2 – Measure runtime: Run the vacuum continuously on low power and time how long it operates from full to automatic shutdown.
- Step 3 – Compare to specification: Check your Severin manual for the expected runtime. If actual runtime is less than 50–60% of specified, the battery is significantly degraded.
- Step 4 – Avoid deep discharges: In future, recharge before the battery is completely empty to extend life.
- Step 5 – Replace battery: When capacity is too low for practical use, replace the battery pack with a genuine Severin replacement.
