Vacuum will not charge; no lights on charger or battery when connected.

Safety first: Unplug the charger before inspecting the cable or plug. Do not attempt to open the charger housing.

• Step 1 – Test outlet: Plug another device (e.g., a lamp) into the same outlet to confirm it has power.
• Step 2 – Inspect charger: Check the charger plug, cable, and housing for damage, kinks, or burn marks. If damaged, stop using it immediately.
• Step 3 – Try another outlet: Plug the charger into a different wall socket without extension cords.
• Step 4 – Observe LEDs: With the charger plugged in and no battery attached, some Severin chargers show a standby light. If there is no light at all, the charger may be defective.
• Step 5 – Replace charger: Use only a genuine Severin replacement charger with the correct voltage and connector. Do not use universal or third-party chargers.
