Possible Causes

Clogged pre‑motor filters, Blocked cyclone assembly or dust cup inlet, Partial blockage in wand or floor nozzle, Air leak at seals or gaskets

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before clearing blockages or removing filters.

  • 1. Empty dust cup: Remove and empty the dust cup. Ensure the bottom door closes fully and seals properly.
  • 2. Clean filters: Remove foam, felt, and HEPA filters. Tap off dust and, if allowed by the manual, rinse with cool water. Let them dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.
  • 3. Check for clogs: Inspect the dust cup inlet, cyclone shroud, wand, and floor nozzle for debris. Use a flashlight and a flexible rod to push out any obstructions.
  • 4. Inspect seals and gaskets: Look at the rubber seals where the dust cup attaches and where the wand connects. Replace any torn or deformed seals to restore suction.
  • 5. Test handheld vs. full stick: Compare suction at the handheld unit alone and with the wand/nozzle attached. If suction is strong at the handheld but weak with attachments, the blockage or leak is in the wand or nozzle.
