Brushroll / Floor Nozzle Performance Issue
Cordless Shark vacuum leaves lines of debris or snowplows larger particles instead of picking them up

Possible Causes
Worn brushroll bristles, Clogged front soft roller (DuoClean), Incorrect floor height or mode, Blocked front intake opening
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before cleaning the floor nozzle.
- 1. Check floor mode: Ensure the vacuum is set to the correct floor type (hard floor vs. carpet) according to your model's controls.
- 2. Clean front roller and intake: On DuoClean models, remove the soft front roller and clean off hair and dust. Clear any debris from the front intake opening.
- 3. Inspect brushroll bristles: If bristles are worn down, uneven, or missing, they will not agitate carpet effectively. Replace the brushroll.
- 4. Slow your cleaning pace: Move the vacuum more slowly over debris and make overlapping passes. For large particles, approach them from different angles.
- 5. Replace worn nozzle components: If cleaning does not improve pickup, replace the brushroll and, if applicable, the soft roller with genuine Shark parts.
