Cordless Shark vacuum's dust cup door will not stay closed or pops open during use

Safety first: Remove the battery before working on the dust cup.

• 1. Empty and clean dust cup: Remove all debris and wipe the latch area clean.
• 2. Inspect latch hook and catch: Look for cracks or wear on the latch and the mating catch on the cup. If plastic is broken, the cup will not stay closed.
• 3. Check for warping: Close the door and look for gaps. If the door is warped, replace the dust cup assembly.
• 4. Replace dust cup: If the latch or door is damaged, install a new genuine Shark dust cup assembly.
