Possible Causes
Loose LED connector in floor nozzle, Broken wire in nozzle harness, Failed LED board, Damaged connector pins at wand
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before inspecting the nozzle or connectors.
- 1. Check connections: Detach and reattach the floor nozzle and wand to ensure solid electrical contact.
- 2. Inspect LED wiring: Look for visible damage to the cable entering the nozzle. If the cable is pinched or cut, the nozzle may need replacement.
- 3. Test with another nozzle (if available): If another compatible nozzle's lights work, the original nozzle's LED board is faulty.
- 4. Replace nozzle or LED board: On most Shark cordless models, the LED board is integrated into the nozzle and not separately replaceable. Replace the entire floor nozzle if the headlights are important to you.
