Battery gets excessively hot to touch during use or charging

Safety first: If the battery is too hot to hold comfortably, stop using the vacuum immediately and remove the battery from the unit. Do not place it near flammable materials.

• 1. Allow to cool: Let the battery cool at room temperature away from direct sunlight.
• 2. Check ventilation: Ensure the battery vents and surrounding plastic are not blocked by dust or covers.
• 3. Moderate usage: Avoid long continuous runs on maximum power; alternate with lower power.
• 4. Observe during next charge: If the battery again becomes very hot while charging, unplug the charger and discontinue use.

Persistent overheating indicates a failing lithium battery pack or faulty charger. Replace the battery first; if issue remains, replace the Swan charger.
