Possible Causes

Battery pack unable to supply high current, Battery BMS limiting output due to age, Faulty mode switch, Control PCB restricting turbo due to detected fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Remove the battery before inspecting switches or contacts.

  • 1. Fully charge battery: Ensure the battery is charged to 100% on the original Swan charger. Low voltage can disable turbo mode.
  • 2. Check mode button: Press the power/mode button several times. Ensure it clicks and is not stuck. Clean around it with a dry cloth.
  • 3. Test with another battery (if available): If a second compatible Swan battery allows turbo mode, the original battery is weak and should be replaced.
  • 4. Reduce load: Clean filters and clear blockages so the motor does not draw excessive current in turbo mode.

If E9 continues even with a new battery and clean airflow path, the main control PCB may be limiting power due to an internal fault and should be replaced by a technician.
