Extension wand or tube collapses or separates during use

Safety first: Remove the battery before working on structural parts.

• 1. Inspect lock mechanism: Check the wand's locking button or slider for damage. Ensure it springs back when pressed.
• 2. Clean locking points: Remove dust and debris from the holes or grooves where the lock engages.
• 3. Check for cracks: Look along the wand for splits or deformation that could prevent proper locking.

If the wand still will not lock securely, replace the Swan extension wand / telescopic tube.
