Possible Causes
Failed brush motor in floorhead, Broken drive belt or gear, Disconnected wiring in floorhead, Faulty floorhead PCB (if fitted)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery and detach the floorhead.
- 1. Check for jams: Remove the brush bar and clear all hair and debris. Ensure it spins freely by hand.
- 2. Inspect belt/drive: If accessible, check the belt or gear drive between the motor and brush bar. Replace if snapped or stripped.
- 3. Check connector: Inspect the electrical connector between wand and floorhead for bent pins or loose fit.
If the brush still does not spin, the floorhead brush motor or internal PCB is likely faulty. Replace the complete Swan motorised floorhead assembly.
