Possible Causes

Faulty trigger switch in handle, Broken internal wiring between battery contacts and PCB, Loose battery connector in handle, Failed main control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Remove the battery before any disassembly. Unplug charger from mains.

  • 1. Confirm battery output: Test the battery in another compatible Swan vacuum if available. If it works there, the issue is in the vacuum body.
  • 2. Check battery seating: Ensure the battery slides fully into the handle and clicks. Inspect the handle contacts for bent or recessed pins.
  • 3. Test trigger feel: Squeeze the trigger; it should click distinctly. If it feels loose or stuck, the trigger switch may be broken.

Repairing the trigger switch or internal wiring requires opening the handle and soldering. Replace the handle assembly with trigger and PCB or have a technician perform the repair.
