Possible Causes

Broken wiring in extension wand, Loose connector between wand and floorhead, Failed LED/PCB in Tower motorised head, Damaged floorhead power pins on main body

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Remove the battery before inspecting electrical connections.

  • Step 1 – Check connections: Detach and reattach the wand and floorhead, ensuring each connection clicks firmly into place.
  • Step 2 – Inspect contacts: Look at the metal power pins at the base of the main body and at the top of the wand. Clean gently with a dry cloth.
  • Step 3 – Wiggle test: With the vacuum running (battery installed, but keep fingers away from moving parts), gently move the wand connection. If the headlight flickers, the wand wiring is likely damaged.
  • Step 4 – Test with another wand/head: If available, test with a known‑good Tower wand or floorhead to isolate the faulty component.
  • Step 5 – Replace faulty part: Replace the Tower extension wand with wiring loom or the motorised floorhead assembly depending on which fails the tests.
