Possible Causes

Shorted motor windings in main floorhead, Blocked airflow causing motor overload, Damaged battery BMS current sensor, Pinched wiring harness between body and floorhead

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Switch off the vacuum and remove the battery pack before inspecting the floorhead or wiring.

  • Step 1 – Check for blockages: Remove the floorhead from the wand. Look through the suction path, wand, and bin inlet for clogs (hair, debris, small toys). Clear any obstructions completely.
  • Step 2 – Inspect brush roll: Remove the brush bar from the Tower motorised floorhead (usually via a coin‑slot or side cap). Cut away hair and threads from the ends and around the bearings. Ensure the brush spins freely by hand.
  • Step 3 – Inspect wiring: Check the cable that runs from the main body down the wand to the motorised head. Look for crushed, cut, or exposed wires, especially at pivot points.
  • Step 4 – Test without floorhead: Refit the battery and run the vacuum with just the main body (no wand or floorhead). If E2 disappears, the fault is in the floorhead or wand wiring.
  • Step 5 – Replace faulty parts: If the brush motor feels stiff, smells burnt, or the wiring is damaged, replace the complete Tower motorised floorhead assembly or wiring loom as applicable.
  • Do not bypass safety: Never attempt to bypass the BMS or fuses; this can cause fire or permanent damage.
