Possible Causes
Dust or debris lodged around trigger, Broken trigger spring, Worn plastic pivot, Internal microswitch failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before working near the trigger or handle.
- Step 1 – Clean around trigger: Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust from around the trigger mechanism.
- Step 2 – Check movement: Gently move the trigger to feel for binding. If it feels gritty, continue cleaning.
- Step 3 – Inspect internally (if user‑serviceable): On some Tower models, the handle cover can be removed to access the trigger and spring. Replace a broken Tower trigger spring or handle switch assembly as needed.
- Step 4 – Replace handle assembly: If the internal microswitch has failed, replace the complete Tower handle / trigger assembly or main body shell with switch.
