Possible Causes
Debris stuck in motor impeller, Damaged or unbalanced brush bar, Loose screws in floorhead housing, Cracked cyclone or bin causing resonance
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before inspecting internal parts.
- Step 1 – Isolate source: Run the main body without the floorhead. If noise reduces significantly, the issue is in the floorhead.
- Step 2 – Inspect brush bar: Check for missing bristles or bent sections. Replace the Tower brush bar if it appears warped or damaged.
- Step 3 – Tighten screws: Inspect the floorhead and main body for loose screws and gently tighten them.
- Step 4 – Check cyclone and bin: Ensure the bin and cyclone are properly seated and not cracked. Replace the Tower dust bin assembly if damaged.
- Step 5 – Motor inspection: If noise clearly comes from the motor area, the bearings or impeller may be damaged; replace the Tower main motor assembly.
