Possible Causes
Failed tilt sensor on main PCB, Loose sensor connector, Firmware misreading sensor data after impact
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery pack before opening the vacuum body.
- Reset orientation: Place the vacuum upright on a flat surface, remove the battery for 1–2 minutes, then reinstall and power on without moving it. Some models recalibrate the sensor at startup.
- Check for impact damage: Inspect the housing for cracks or signs of a fall that may have dislodged the sensor.
- Internal inspection (advanced): If accessible, open the main body and locate the small tilt/orientation sensor on the PCB. Ensure it is not physically broken and that its connector (if separate) is secure.
- Replace main PCB: If the sensor is integrated into the board and E14 persists, the main control PCB will need replacement.
