Intermittent Electrical Connection in Wand or Nozzle Neck
Vacuum intermittently loses power when the wand is twisted or moved.

Possible Causes
Broken wire inside wand harness, Loose connector at wand ends, Worn contacts at wand-to-nozzle joint, Cracked wand housing stressing wires
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery pack before inspecting the wand and nozzle.
- Recreate the fault: With the vacuum assembled, gently twist and move the wand while running (short tests only). If power cuts in and out, the wand wiring is suspect.
- Inspect connectors: Remove the wand and check the electrical contacts at both ends for corrosion or looseness. Clean with a dry cloth.
- Check for visible damage: Look for kinks, cracks, or crushed areas along the wand that may indicate internal wire damage.
- Replace wand assembly: Internal wire repair is difficult and unreliable. Replace the entire Tristar wand if intermittent power persists.
