Vacuum runs for only a few minutes on a full charge before shutting off (no error code).

Safety first: If the battery becomes excessively hot or swollen, stop using it immediately.

• Verify full charge: Charge the battery until the charger or vacuum indicates full. Ensure the charger is functioning correctly.
• Test runtime on low power: Run the vacuum on the lowest power setting and time the runtime. If it is significantly below the specification in the manual, the battery capacity has likely degraded.
• Reduce load: Clean filters and clear blockages to minimize current draw, which can slightly improve runtime.
• Replace the battery pack: If the battery is more than 2–3 years old or shows poor runtime despite clean filters and normal use, replace it with a genuine Tristar lithium battery pack.
