Possible Causes
Worn brush bar bristles, Blocked floorhead suction channel, Incorrect cleaning mode for floor type, Damaged or missing floorhead seal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before inspecting the floorhead.
- 1. Inspect the brush bar: Check that bristles are not worn flat. If they are short or uneven, replace the brush bar.
- 2. Clean the suction channel: Remove the brush bar and clear any debris from the suction opening behind it.
- 3. Check seals: Inspect the rubber strip or seal at the front/rear of the floorhead. Replace the head if seals are torn or missing.
- 4. Use correct mode: Ensure the vacuum is set to the appropriate floor type (hard floor vs carpet) if your model has a selector.
After cleaning and replacing worn parts, test pickup on both hard floors and carpets.
