Possible Causes
Worn or broken battery latch on vacuum body, Damaged latch tab on battery pack, Cracked battery housing around latch area
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not use the vacuum if the battery is loose; it may disconnect or fall out unexpectedly.
- 1. Inspect the battery latch: Check the latch mechanism on the vacuum body for cracks or missing pieces. Ensure it moves freely and springs back.
- 2. Inspect the battery tabs: Look at the locking tabs on the battery pack. If they are chipped or worn, the battery may not lock properly.
- 3. Test with another battery (if available): If a different battery locks securely, replace the original battery. If all batteries are loose, the vacuum’s latch is damaged.
Replace the battery or main body housing as required. Do not attempt to glue or tape the battery in place.
