Possible Causes

Stuck brush control switch, Shorted MOSFET or relay on floorhead PCB, Moisture ingress into floorhead electronics, Damaged control wiring

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Immediately remove the battery to stop the brush bar. Do not allow the brush to run unattended.

  • 1. Inspect the brush control button (if fitted): Check for sticking or debris around the button. Clean gently.
  • 2. Dry the floorhead: If the head was exposed to moisture, allow it to dry in a warm, dry place for at least 24 hours.

If the brush still runs uncontrollably when power is applied, the floorhead electronics are faulty. Replace the motorised floorhead assembly.
