Possible Causes
Blown LED board in floorhead, Broken LED wiring inside floorhead, Corroded LED connector, LED driver failure on floorhead PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before inspecting the floorhead.
- 1. Check connections: Detach the floorhead and inspect the electrical contacts for corrosion or damage. Clean with a dry cloth.
- 2. Test with another floorhead (if available): If another compatible Vax motorised head works correctly, the original head’s LED board is faulty.
Because the LEDs are usually integrated into the floorhead PCB, the entire motorised floorhead assembly is typically replaced rather than repairing the LED board.
