Dishwasher will not start, display is on but program does not begin when Start is pressed

• Check door closure: Close the door firmly until you hear the latch click. Ensure no dishes or cutlery are protruding and blocking the seal.
• Child lock: Consult the user manual to see if a key or lock symbol is lit. If so, deactivate the child lock by holding the specified buttons.
• Try another program: Select a different program and press Start to rule out a program selection issue.
• Door switch test: If the display shows a door-open icon or beeps when trying to start, the door switch may be faulty and require replacement.
